From My Carolina Home - Getting To My Real Blog

Hi, I created this blog so I could comment on other google based blogs as Blogger and Blogspot do not play nice with Wordpress.  Blogspot and Blogger will no longer allow a Wordpress identity to comment on your blog, recently deleting Open ID and all other identities.  So forgive me for having one more click to get to my blog, but it is better to be able to comment on yours!

Click on the link below to see my actual blog

where I blog about a wide variety of subjects including quilting, cooking, reading, stamping, crafting, mountain living, gardening, travel, photography and more.

  2. Hello there! I love your picture by your kitchen, it makes me want to visit, lol..
Thank you so much for visiting dear, you so made my day!
I am such a quilt lover and always wanted to make one, but there is no classes around where I live. I wonder if I can just Google it for instruction, hehe..
Oh look, I was just gonna say I'd like to live next door to you and I raised my eyes and read what Sue just commented too!
    Hugs,

  4. Of course I will go! You can also add on your Blogger's profile the link to your "real" blog on the "personnal web page", and it will show just under your email address.

  5. I understand completely. I started a wordpress blog a few years ago for this reason and other reasons too. I didn't care for wordpress and came back to blogger. Now Google has made more changes that make it harder IMO, but I don't want to pay for a blog either. I get around the blogger vs wordpress commenting by allowing anonymous comments but setup comment moderation for any posts over 7 days. Most of the spammy comments seem to be on older posts. I can't wait to check out your new blog home.

  6. Shoot, I just added this link to my blog list. It really is annoying that the two platforms have built in problems. When I comment on wordpress I have to lie about my email or it won't let me comment. I use yahoo, because if I use my real email, wordpress wants me to log in. I've not had an account with wordpress for probably 10 years. So, no...I didn't get your note. I'll go to your blog and then change your link
